Joe Massengale
Joe Massengale was born in Marshall, Texas, on March 29, 1929. At 17, he joined his elder brother in Los Angeles in a tree-trimming and landscaping company that became Joe's Expert Tree Service. it was here that he raised his six sons, mentored many others, and built his fortune. An inexhaustible entrepreneur, Joe worked as a disc jockey, songwriter-producer, actor, motivational speaker, radio announcer, and sportsman. His Thoroughbred horses have won major purses at Californian tracks.

David Clow
David Clow is a journalist whose work has appeared in national, local, business, and academic publications including USA Today and Philadelphia Magazine. As a business communicator, he has written internal and external media for Fortune 500 companies including American Express, Intel, and Nissan.
